Quick Serve
Quick serve restaurants come in all shapes and sizes. They usually have fun themes based on the cuisine they serve and typically offer a fast casual dine-in environment with a healthy capacity for take-out. Menu items tend to be affordable for most budgets. As demand for quick and easy meals grows, so does the quick serve restaurant industry. Quick serve or QSR establishments are sometimes referred to as fast food joints. This alternate naming to fast food lends a healthier association to the food served within. Options often include smoothies, tacos, burritos, hamburgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, ice cream, coffee and donuts and anything else that can be served up quickly.
Running a quick serve restaurant has a unique set of challenges. Aside from obtaining the perfect location (which is incredibly important), operators need to decide whether to build their own concept or become part of a franchise built with out of the box themes, menus and operations. Once the concept is built and finalized, operators need to select on premise software or software as a service (SaaS) to manage employees, account for and decrement inventory, deploy print menus and digital menus, sell and run gift cards and customer loyalty, create marketing, handle tips and act as a point of sale (POS) system. These systems need to accept payment, integrate with delivery apps like Grubhub, DoorDash and UberEats and offer online ordering through services like Menufy and Clover.
Payment Integrator has direct integrations into the most powerful quick serve point of sale and loyalty systems available. Our integrations come equipped with P2PE security, a variety of credit card processing terminals and the ability to accept e-wallets like Google Pay and Apple Pay. Text to pay, email to pay, QR code to pay, tap to pay, dip to pay and swipe to pay options give QSR restaurants a frictionless customer payment experience. Our unique tokenization gives quick serve restaurants the ability to identify customers prior to ordering with the use of a credit card or debit card as a means of identification.
